An ethical decision can arise at any time in the most unlikely situation. How do you recognize when a decision is ethics-based? What do you do once you realize that's the decision you are making? How do you talk with those around you about it?
In this session we'll use a series of scenarios to talk about how to recognize an ethical issue, understand how to apply ASAE's Ethical Decision Making Model in your organization, and work through the ethical issues in the workplace.
We'll also touch on the elements needed to ensure your association fosters ethical decision-making practices.

Speaker Bio:
Rhea M. Steele, FASAE, CAE is the Chief of Staff at the School Nutrition Association. She finds the nexus between strategy and operations - helping organizations create the vision they need for tomorrow while implementing the steps that will get them there today.
She brings to her speaking and facilitation approach a natural inclination to help staff connect their work with the organizational mission and impact. Her 15+ years in association management have resulted in deep expertise in governance, strategic planning, evaluation, organizational development, culture change, facilitation, and operational excellence.
She helps organizations form dynamic, transparent, high-performing, and inclusive cultures. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor's in Fine Arts and Anthropology and a master's in Museum and Field Studies.
